2013 - current
For the last five years I've been directing design teams at Fjord in Berlin. Supporting our clients and leading my accounts across research, strategy, product creation and brand development for clients such as Red Bull, Novartis, Adidas, mini, and Credit Suisse. Through leading visual design, I push beauty and craft in the smallest detail of everything we do.
2012 - 2013
At Splendid I supported and developed the growing design team. I focused on design and art direction for editorial in digital, developing concepts and user interactions exploring how The Times and The Sun could present and tell engaging stories.
2012 - 2012
As Head of Design at Great Fridays, my focus was on the development of mobile and touch user experience projects for Thomson Reuters. This covered solutions for the news services reporting of the 2012 Olympics.
2011 - 2012
During this year I was the lead visual designer in a small team developing the graphical and interaction language for the bbc Olympics player. This involved developing a solution which would allow for 24 live streams, live rewinding of each stream and chaptering of live content.
2010 - 2011
Prior to joining the bbc I spent time freelancing as a senior designer and art director at Fallon, Fjord and Method. Over this time I developed digital campaigns, touch screen interfaces for in-car solutions and store experiences covering physical and digital touch points.
2009 - 2010
As part of a core brand team at Canonical, the commercial sponsors of the open source operating system Ubuntu, I focused on development and delivery of a new brand and language across digital touch points, whilst engaging the wider open source community to deliver consistency and engagement.
2007 - 2009
At Digitas lbi I was the lead Art Director on the bt.com consumer account, developing and refining the consumer brand online. I also lead opportunities, and collaborated on projects, for Volkswagen, British Gas, Unilever, the National Grid and d&ad.
2003 - 2007
With a desire to broaden my opportunities and network I spent a period freelancing in London with the likes of Dare, Enterprise ig, Framfab, Oyster, Lida, Pauffley and Start on projects for Vodafone, Onken, Barclays, Phillip Morris, bhs, Roche and o2.
2002 - 2002
I contracted at mrm Partners in Sydney working developing projects for Kimberly Clark, Microsoft and Unilever.
2000 - 2002
I began my foray in the digital world as a the Senior Designer at Proximity London. From campaigns to experiential sites, intranets to corporate portals I developed work for the likes of Adidas, bt, Cannes Lions, Emirates, The Royal Mail and txu Energi.
1997 - 2000
Focusing on branding, identity, and editorial, my first design position was with hgv Design Consultants in London. Working on projects for ng Bailey & Co, Consignia, Esprit Europe, The Foreign & Commonwealth Office, ibm, Telegraph Colour Library, Unilever and the Friends of the v&a.
